Tatu set for July 22 premiere at Eko Hotel

Preparations have reached conclusive stages for the premiere of the anticipated epic movie, Tatu. Produced by Bank of Industry and Patriarch Technologies in conjunction with FilmOne Production and FilmOne Distribution, the movie will be premiered with all pomp and pageantry at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre on July 22.

Shot in locations across Lagos and Ibadan, the movie is a contemporary take on the classic African epic adventure story, a fast paced action drama centred around the conflict arising from a mother’s quest to have a child and all the complications that followed.

Produced and directed by the award winning producer of Taxi Driver (Oko Ashewo), a 2015 flick, and the mega block buster smash hit, The Wedding Party, in 2016, Don Omope, creative director, FilmOne production and distribution, the suspense filled movie is adapted from a book written by Dr. Abraham E. Nwankwo, the recently retired Director General of the Debt Management Office.

“Tatu is a well prepped movie and has all the hallmark to become another smash hit success, its my third collaboration with cinematographer Akpe Ododoru and we spent a year developing this script from book to film,” Omope said.

Starring, Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliott, Toyin Aimakun-Abraham, Gabriel Afolayan, Rahama Sadau, Sambaza Nzeribe, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka), Frank Dunga and a host of others, the movie features some of the best crop of actors from Nollywood.The premiere is expected to bring together captains of industry, government and the diplomatic corps.
