A good year at least before the rest of the world, the cast of Game of Thrones have officially gotten their hands on the script for the fantasy show’s last ever episodes. It’s probably best to start preparing yourself for an emotional rollercoaster now as Kit Harington has revealed he couldn’t help but shed a tear while reading about how the series ends.

Appearing on BBC’s The One Show, the 30-year-old actor quoted the infamous line “Jon Snow knows nothing”, before revealing “We had a read through last week in fact, so I know everything now.” He went on to describe crying at the end of the read, explaining:

You have to remember that eight years of it no one really cares about it more than us. I get a bit weepy thinking about it. It’s going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person.”

While we won’t get to see how everything ends until 2019, it’s giving us chills just thinking about it. Still, plenty of time to stock up on tissues from now until then.
