Intriguing Nollywood Trailer: Code Of Silence

Before you scroll away just because you see Nollywood, you should take a minute to watch this trailer and have a reason to believe in your film industry once again.

Code Of Silence is a movie done by Royal Arts Academy in conjunction with Nollywood Workshop p release of a new movie.

The plot involves a young girl, Adanma who was gang-raped by two men one night while coming home from school. This singular act is the catalyst that triggers a number of catastrophic events in the film; One of the rapists is a prominent politician in the state and the other his aide. As a result, Adanma’s family being of humble origins, are afraid to report the matter to the relevant authorities citing the excuse that rape is considered a taboo in society and it will make her undesirable for marriage.

Last week we stood with Ezinne Akudo on the ‘Break The Silence’ stance to aid rape victims. This movie just tell sthe ills of society and for once the story seems to be told inthe right way. The trailer is exciting.

The movie boasts of actors like Patience Ozorkwor, Desmond Elliott, Ini Edo, Omoni Oboli Amaechi Muonagor, Makida Moka. Produced and directed by Emem Isong, you best believe that this movie is sensational.
