A moment of silence to Nigeria’s very own Fela. We take that back and say Africa’s very own. He was a legend and he passed away on the 2nd of August, 1997.

For the youngsters who just know the name Fela because he is the King of Afrobeat, Fela is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, musician, composer, pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre, human rights activist, and political maverick. He rocks!!! Still does because his legacy still lives on. Ask Wizkid, he copied his title ‘Expensive Shit’.
