Outraged South Africans have taken their anger at Swedish fashion brand and retail store, H&M, to another level.

Despite H&M’s apology for the “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” sweatshirt, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) of South Africa went on a destroying spree at the H&M stores in Sandton City, V&A Waterfront, Menlyn Park, Mall of the South, Mall of Africa, Clearwater and East Rand Mall saying they have rejected the apology. They insist that it was an intentional act and would therefore not be condoned by the people of South Africa.

Although the deputy president of the group, Floyd Shivambu openly praised the group for “physically confronting racism”, the protesters have denied being violent.
