Maison de Coco

This amazing building was built with materials purely gotten from the coconut tree. Coconut tree materials were adopted by the people after the abolition of slavery and there were no bricks left. What is more? You can also purchase gift items that are made from coconut.

Anse Lazio Beach

This is considered the best beach in Praslin Island and in the archipelago and one of the best in the world. The beach is surrounded by takamaka trees, vegetation and is the perfect spot for taking pictures. This is because of its soft sand and crystal-clear waters.

Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve

Located in the Praslin island is the Vallée de Mai. This world heritage site and nature park is home to the rare black parrot and the coco de mer palm tree which produces the world’s largest (nut) seeds in the world.

Victoria Market

This historic market was built in 1840. It is a deep reflection of the way of life of the Seychellois. Also, the market boasts of different fish and artworks. And if you are willing, the locals can educate you on the different ways of cooking your fish to get the best flavour.

Navasakti Vinayagar Temple

Looking for a spiritual connection? Navasakti Vinayagar Temple also known as the Tempio Hindu is the only Hindu temple in Seychelles. Its brightly-coloured exterior makes it easily identifiable in Victoria.
