The Directors of Simply Nigerian Fair (SNF) has promised to make the forthcoming third edition the biggest and best retail fair for Nigerians, to promote homegrown businesses with affordable products showcasing platform.

The Directors of Simply Nigerian Fair (SNF) has promised to make the forthcoming third edition the biggest and best retail fair for Nigerians, to promote homegrown businesses with affordable products showcasing platform.

According to SNF founder Temi Shenjobi, SNF is a vehicle that helps to propel small companies forward and help them grow to the next level with a focus to promote Nigerian brands, and also promotes the made in Nigeria ethos to consumers.

“We believe that SNF as a platform contributes to the creation of more sustainable and profitable businesses which can create jobs and boost the nation’s economy” she said. 

The fair, which will hold on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Garden Fusion Centre, located on 10 Adekunle Lawal Street, Ikoyi, Lagos, will be declared open by film legend, Kate Henshaw amongst other expected celebrities and high-profile guests enjoying the upscale ambience of the Fair and the impressive array of products on display.

Shenjobi who said, the oncoming third edition of SNF is going to be truly bigger and better, and as proudly Nigerian entrepreneurs, SNF want to support Nigerian small businesses and help grow local brands.

“I wanted to build a platform that would support home-grown businesses and help them grow by introducing them to a wider customer base and greater exposure.“We are using double the ground space from previous editions and we are going to field almost 100 vendors as opposed to 50 at the other two Fairs. “In addition there will be more entertainment and an even more enjoyable shopping experience for guests.

In a statement signed by SNF directors, Nkiru Asika, Linda Okome, and Penelope Gobir, we are delighted to announce that our Special Guest of Honour will once again be Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, Hon. Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment who has been so supportive of the fair along with its various parastatals since inception.

“SNF stands out not only for its truly Nigerian-themed product but also for the breadth of categories featured at the fair such as: food and drinks, hair and body, home and lifestyle, fresh produce, fabrics and footwear, plants and flowers.

“The SNF team also screens the vendors carefully to ensure that the goods on display are locally produced, grown or assembled and of good quality” they declared.

They added that SNF is also an official local partner for this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, the biggest entrepreneurship event in the world, with events holding concurrently in more than 170 countries.

“SNF also partners with Enterprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University, Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017, Leadway Assurance, Lagos Cabal Entertainment, House of Tara and Style House Files, conveners of the recently concluded Lagos Fashion and Design Week”.
