In celebration of its 15th year anniversary, Nigeria’s foremost women’s focused NGO, Women in Management, Business & Public Service (WIMIBIZ) is holding a Special Edition Roundtable and formal Induction Ceremony of new members. The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is confirmed as the Keynote Speaker at the event which will hold on the 10th of August 2016. The event will also feature other influential speakers across the business and private sectors with over 300 women from the private and public spheres in attendance.

The Special Roundtable themed “Half-Time 2016: Re-strategizing to Win in a Volatile Economy” will inspire women to raise their aspirations and strategically position themselves as the next frontier of development in Africa and indeed the world. Given the volatile economic climate, it will offer strategies and unique perspectives for leveraging opportunities and thriving in the dynamic Nigerian economy.

The Roundtable will further deepen our impact in Abuja and provide an opportunity for women across a broader geographical, sectoral spectrum with special emphasis on the public sector to interact and network. We are very conscious of the need to broaden our scope nationally to ensure full participation of all women across various ethnic, demographic and socio-economic backgrounds and are confident that this Roundtable will further consolidate our efforts in this respect.
