The Metrowoman Power Brunch Series has launched a programme devoted to empowering female entrepreneurs. It was held on January 20, 2018 at the Labule Restaurant in Lekki Phase 1.

The Session which is the first of a series of mentoring meetings that will hold quarterly during the year to empower female entrepreneurs in relevant areas of building their businesses. The areas include setting structures, innovation, leadership development, tax, human resources and accounting.

The session, which had over 35 select participants, featured a goal setting and execution presentation from Chinenye Nnoli, the founder of Metrowoman Limited. Padebi Ojomo, a small business coach for female entrepreneurs moderated a practical goal-setting class. Nelly Agbogu who is the founder of Nellies, a health food business and Naija Brand Chick, a social media business influencer taught the class on how to set up structures and grow their brands leveraging on social media. Chinwe Egwim a professional financial analyst reviewed the Nigeria macroeconomics and the impact for business in 2018 to help the business owners position their companies for the year.

The participants left empowered and excited to take on the year with zest. The dates for the subsequent programme will be announced in due course.
