360 Woman Africa loud with THRIVE
On January 20, 2018, 360 Woman Africa set out with its annual first quarter conference themed THRIVE. It was essentially a gathering of women between the age of 18-45 to empower them by engaging its audience in critical thinking patterns and empowering beliefs that will enable them set goals and deliver on them in the new year.
The convener, Yvonne Chioma Ofodile set the pace with her welcome speech as she shared the vision and mission of the organisation and spoke on the power of vision. According to her, the cheapest yet the most powerful gift of God to the universe is the gift of imagination. “For it is as far as you can see (imagine) and believe that is what the universe will come together to deliver to you,” Ofodile said.
The conference was graced by a keynote speaker Albert Femi Oduwole who spoke on the theme Thrive – The Prostitute Approach To Business where he shared key points to the approach which includes targeting, territorial claim, perfect timing, effective packaging, aggressive marketing, determined drive, confident approach etc.
Also, other panellists such as Jennifer (JBeautyFULL) Alegieuno, Bukie Iwajomo, Imma SteveHarris, Lola Tewe spoke on different areas that are prerequisite to thriving in 2018 covering topics such as Creating A Niche and Building Sustainable Brands, New Ways To Leverage Digital Tools To Build Powerful Brands, Administrative Structures That Out-live You-way forward, and Staying in line with purpose.
The conference was highly engaging and instrumental to provocative thinking as proven by the feedbacks that keep coming in. The conference this year attracted a total number of 192 women from all over Nigeria. The organisers expressed gratitude to the conference media partner, Guardian Woman for its support, while looking forward to continuous partnership in the years ahead.
