Ahead of the International Women’s Day 2018, The Guardian, in partnership with Profiles & Biographies and Gender Perspective, is profiling women who have broken the glass ceiling in different spectra of life. Titled: Nigeria Women Annual: 100 Leading Women in Nigeria, the profile is a rating of women who have defied the odds, scaled over their limitations, and reached heights that are extraordinary, and through all these, have shaped our dear country, Nigeria, and immensely contributed to its development.

This pull-out is the most qualitative, most authoritative, up-to-date biographical profile on Nigeria’s 100 most inspirational and influential women for 2018. This biographical compendium will capture the stories of women that are meant to inspire a generation of women to do greater things in diverse fields of endeavour.

The Guardian is searching the nooks and crannies of the country in search of these heroines, some of who may be unsung. That is why we are throwing the nomination open to all Nigerians. If you know any woman who fits the bill, please do email your nominations to: sotay2005@yahoo.com with the profile on or before February 28, 2018
