SkyeXperience to offer omni-channel digital experience

Skye Bank Plc, one of Nigeria’s innovative commercial institutions, has unveiled SkyeXperience, a digital service platform that offers smarter and personalised banking services to customers. While speaking at the unveiling, Chairman, Board of Directors, Skye Bank Plc, Mr. Mohammed K. Ahmad, expressed gratitude to customers for the support the bank received through the years.

According to him, “This auspicious occasion is our own modest contribution towards the economic development of our country, especially in the area of financial technology and digital revolution.”

Ahmad also applauded Federal Government’s policy on digital revolution, which seeks to achieve 30 per cent broadband penetration by 2018, adding, “Our contribution through the SkyeXperience will encourage more Nigerians to embrace the use of technological solutions to attain quality living.”

For the Group Managing Director of Skye Bank Plc, Mr. Adetokunbo Abiru, the unveiling shows the bank’s commitment to renewal of services to valued customers, who have “challenged us on how best we can serve better.”

He explained that the bank had to partner with Oracle Corporation, a computer technology company, to achieve the feat.

“As a pledge of commitment to a new service charter with our customers, SkyeXperience denotes such positive values as experience, excellence, excitement, and experiential,” Abiru said. “Our overriding objective therefore is to simplify service delivery and personalise customer experience.”

He said the solution would come handy in a rapidly evolving world where ease of doing business and quality of lifestyle are already being measured by society’s ability to adapt to changes in digital technology.

According to him, “The challenge of the emerging market economies like Nigeria lies on how fast and sustainably we are able to use digital solutions to intervene in our educational, healthcare and transportation systems as well as deal with other environmental challenges.

“SkyeXperience is Nigeria’s most advanced digital financial solution that will make banking a hassle-free and exciting lifestyle for both the young and the old.”

He further stressed that the unique features of the digital solution is its overriding benefit of providing for the customer an Omni-channel experience and seamless navigation on multiple platforms. “The solution is also self-service, enabling you to do several transactions on the go,” he said.

Abiru said in the months ahead, the bank intends to deliver improved products and services that will leverage on the scale, convenience and security.
