Role of alkaline water in management of cancer

Cancer cells

Cancer like other degenerative diseases is caused by what we eat, drink and our lifestyle. If this is so, it is reasonable to conclude that cancer can be managed by what we eat and drink, accompanied by life style changes. Alkaline what has been found to play very important roles in the treatment of cancer and this is what we intend to discuss.

WHAT IS CANCER?
Cancer is a liquid, a poisonous liquid, an acidic liquid that destroys normal cells. Such cells are transformed into primitive and selfish cells in the body. Cancer is a systemic disease with regional or local manifestation.

Normal cells thrive in an alkaline environment and depend on oxygen for their energy production. Cancer cells on the other hand, thrive in an acidic environment and derive their energy from fermentation of sugar. Cancer cells survive in anaerobic (devoid of oxygen) conditions. What I have referred to as cancer cells here were not produced as such originally by the body. They are normal cells that have been poisoned by the acidic fluid in and around the cells of an organ or region of the body.

The main culprit in cancer cell formation is DEHYDRÀTION, which is the major cause of acidic waste accumulation. The following are the effects of dehydration and secondarily acidic waste products accumulation in the body: increased viscosity of blood and slow blood circulation, inefficient and inadequate delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the cells, disruption of cellular processes and functions, elimination of acidic wastes from the internal and external environment of the cells is slowed down and the acidic wastes in and around the cells begin to accumulate.

Furthermore, these cells that no longer receive sufficient amount of oxygen and nutrients die early and become added to the acidic wastes. Some of the cells may adapt to the new oxygen and nutrient deficient environment and lose their sophistication, becoming primitive and selfish. This is the beginning of the formation of cancer cells in the body.

How are these acidic wastes produced?
Two major processes go on simultaneously in the body. The one is the metabolism of glucose and oxygen to produce energy needed for work in the body. This energy is stored as ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). The other is the breakdown of this energy for the different functions that go on in the body. Apart from the normal end products of these processes that are beneficial to the body, acidic wastes and free radicals are also released. These wastes must be evacuated as fast as they are produced so as not to be harmful to the body. In a state of dehydration elimination of these wastes is not as fast as it should be so they accumulate in and around the cells.

Other factors that may contribute to the accumulation of these wastes include; failure of the kidneys to maintain the proper acid-alkaline balance and formation of sufficient urine as a result of water shortage in the body, poor diet; a diet not rich in vitamins and antioxidants that should neutralize the acid wastes and free radicals. Another very important source of acidic waste is the practice of continuously treating pain and other conditions (diseases), which are normal (physiological) signals of dehydration with drugs. As treatment of the symptoms progresses, the actual cause of the pain or disease, which is dehydration continues to get worse with more and more accumulation of acidic wastes. These toxic acidic wastes poison and destroy the cells of an organ or region of the body where there is dehydration; an area of least resistance. They do this by damaging the DNA and the DNA repair systems. Also, they could damage the membrane receptors causing loss of control and finally suppress the immune system.

Normally cells in the body grow and divide according to certain genetic command. The receptors on the cell membrane cause their growth to be restricted to their own regional space and not beyond. Cells divide by DNA replication in response to certain on and off signals. All these functions and abilities of the cells are destroyed by the acidic wastes in and around the cells.
