Private medical practitioners hold conference in Osogbo

The Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN), will hold her 39th Annual General Meeting and International Scientific Conference in Osogbo, the capital city of the State of Osun.

The conference tagged: “AGPMPN OMOLUABI 2017,” is scheduled to take place at the Leisure Spring Hotel, Osogbo, Osun State, from Wednesday, March 15 to Sunday 19, 2017.

The main theme of the conference is: “Metabolic Syndrome: The Rising Scourge and Implication on Public Health,” and a number of other interesting sub-themes have also been lined up for discussion by notable experts and scholars who have distinguished themselves in the medical profession.

According to the chairman, local organizing committee (LOC), Dr. Shadrach Ijagbemi, the conference would mark another turning point in the history of the State of Osun as many activities have been lined up to make the event a memorable one.
Speaking further, Ijagbemi assured that adequate security will be put in place within and around the venue throughout the duration of the event.

On his part, the Project Lead, Mr. Moses Alabi of MLS Consulting Limited, consultants to the association, said over 1000 doctors, guests and other delegates are expected to attend this epoch-making event. He advised corporate organisations and exhibitors to avail themselves of this unique opportunity to exhibit and showcase their products and services to the teeming audience.
