Internet0AN online auto parts marketplace, Izzy Parts, has unveiled a domain that will allow vehicle owners in Nigeria and other African countries to access quality and affordable auto spare parts.

The domain www.IzzyParts.com intends to offer high quality products from several original parts manufacturers around the globe so as to reduce the challenges vehicle users face in procuring genuine spare parts.

Speaking at the unveiling in Lagos, Head of Media & Communications of Izzy Parts, Collins Udeme said the concept of creating an online auto marketplace was born out of the desire to bridge the gap between manufacturers of genuine automobile spare parts and the end users in Nigeria.

“The launch is set to improve after-sales services in the country through sales of genuine auto spare parts sourced from reputable auto firms in United State of America, with a catalogue of over 550,000 auto parts and accessory items from a variety of the industry’s top brands; offering high-quality products at a favorably discounted rate, Udeme said.

Explaining why there are substandard auto spare parts in the country, he said: “in our research we have discovered that, genuineness, availability, affordability and longevity combine to create the opportunity for fake spare parts. We therefore, vow to fill this vacuum as a way of discouraging the menace of fake spare parts both in Nigeria and other parts of the continent, especially the west coast”.

He disclosed that the company seeks to build a successful auto parts pipeline by December, 2018 to implement solid logistics between two Company warehouses which is located in Houston and Nigeria.

He commended the efforts of Standard Organisations of Nigeria (SON) in terms of equipment upgrade to check substandard products across the country adding that the company is opened to partnering with other government agencies that regulates the automobile marketing subsector.
