THE People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has commended the state governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko on the constitution of boards of parastatals in the state as well as the appointment of new political aides.

The state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Banji Okunomo noted that the appointments were made at a very crucial point in the economic history of the country when some states are finding it difficult to constitute their cabinets.

Okunomo stated that the new appointments and the earlier appointment of Caretaker Committee s’ Chairmen for councils have greatly consolidated the integration of the PDP into one united fold and is well prepared to retain power in next year governorship election in the state.

While felicitating with the new appointees, Okunomo appealed to them to complement the efforts of Governor Mimiko in deepening governance across the state as people’s expectations from them are very high.

He also appealed to others who are yet to benefit from the appointments to exercise patience, noting that the governor would make more appointments in due course.
