Chairman, House Committee on Basic Education, Zakari Mohammed, has urged the Federal Government and the Northern Consortium of United Kingdom Universities (NCUK) to assist Nigerians in accessing quality university education.

Speaking during the Brookstone/NCUK 2018 Education Fair Partners Award ceremony held in Abuja, he applauded the role played by the management of Brookstone International Foundation School in the uplift of education, noting that the relationship is of immense benefit to Nigerian students studying in various institutions of higher learning in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

The lawmaker said it was heartwarming that many Abuja students had already gained exclusive scholarships to study in Ireland, Australia and North America due to the efforts of NCUK and Brookstone Schools’ management.
