Signs Deal With 606 Music

Ketchup-2-CopyJust when most are bowing out of the Nigerian music scene due the competitive nature and pressure in the industry, dancehall king, Ketchup seem not done yet as he staged a come back with the release of his new single title titled Pam Pam. With a club banger beat created by fast rising producer, Orbeat, the dancehall star masterfully delivered the happy song sampling Shaggy and Chakademus.

Under his self-owned UMG Music, the multi-talented act made a game- changing breakthrough with the release of Pay Ass You Go, Coco Banana and Previously, Ketchup is ready to take his career to an all-new level as he joins forces with 606 Music.

Not one to be outdone by his contemporaries, he said, “I do happy music and I am always excited to work with talented and creative people. So, when 606 came on board, I was very excited to sign the deal.” Speaking about the song, Ketchup added, “I hooked up with Orbeat, who has been churning out monster beats recently, we made magic. As we speak now, I am presently compiling songs for my first studio album.”

The yet to be titled album will be released in 2016 under the Samson Sarumi led 606 Imprint. According to Sarumi, the Imprint team believes that Ketchup is very talented and as such they are excited to have him on board, adding that they have also set up teams to ensure that he has the best of the best.

“He is always willing to record, so we are positive that with all of these, Ketchup is ready to take over the world. Pam Pam is a dancehall/reggae song that is gradually becoming a hit in the dance halls, club and beaches.

With an upbeat tempo that you cannot help but bump your head to, the song is penciled to become a hit in a matter of weeks,” Sarumi said. He noted that Ketchup has been on fire since the beginning of this year, and after dropping two videos, the team is certain there is more of the fire where Pam Pam comes from.

The video was shot in South Africa. The delighted fast rising act said, “I am currently in the studio working on my album with producers like Jpaul, J feel and Uhuru.”
