Smile360 wins again at NHEA 2018

For the fourth consecutive year, leading dental and orthodontic clinic, Smile360, has bagged the award for the Best Dental Service Provider of the Year at the 2018 Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Awards, which held recently at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

It was not a surprise to many, who have been following the clinic’s trajectory in the past 10 years, that it went home again with this top award at the ceremony organized by the Nigerian Health Excellence Award.As the team of smiling ladies came up the stage to receive the award, one could sense their pride in this accomplishment. “Every member of the team at Smile360 is extremely passionate and totally committed to creating wonderful smiles for all their patients,” said Dr. Traore-Shombusho, the Managing Director.

According to the organisers of the award, the award is in recognition of the clinic’s remarkable delivery services in the healthcare industry.The Nigeria Health Excellence award is an annual event that recognises and celebrates outstanding personalities and organisations for their contribution to the health sector through innovative, efficient and qualitative healthcare delivery services.

NHEA is an initiative of Global Health Project and Resources (GHPR) in collaboration with Anadach Group USA. This year’s dental award was received by Smile360 Clinical Director Dr. Amy Traore-Shumbusho who was accompanied by some of her team members on stage.Spreading the news of the win and expressing her zeal, Dr. Amy took to social media, writing, “On behalf of the Smile360 team, I, Dr. Amy Traore-Shumbusho, would like to use this medium to thank our lovers and supporters for helping us bring the NHEA 2018 ‘Dental Service Provider of the Year’ award home!

The Clinical Director followed up with a heartwarming speech that was posted on her page; briefly narrating the inception of Smile360 and appreciating supporters and lovers of the clinic as well as the NHEA committee for recognizing their unyielding efforts and contribution to dentistry in the country.The award would mark the clinic’s fourth consecutive win at the NHEA Awards starting with the first win in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018- all in the same category.
