In order to enhance the performance of its workforce, Godrej recently launched its innovative Live Out Ur Dream (LOUD) initiative for its employees in Nigeria to help fulfill the dreams they are most passionate about.

As a result, Godrej rewarded five of its employees on Friday, October 26, 2018, with N500,000 each to support them to fulfill such dreams.
 
The initiative received an enthusiastic response from employees where more than 190 of them applied for the coveted prize.

The top 25 shortlisted applicants were presented to an internal jury and 10 were selected for the final round.

The jury of Business Lead West Africa and CEO, Godrej Nigeria Limited, Mr. Chitwan Singh, Human Capital Development Consultant, Titilayo Eko, and Bidemi Zakariyau. The jury selected the top five dreams, which would be funded by the company.

The final winning dreams include constructing a borehole drill for his community, becoming an industrialist in domestic cosmetics, becoming a global fashion designer, own and run pastry and mixology restaurant and becoming a certified Microsoft Technician on Dynamics.

According to its CEO, Singh, “We believe that passionate, rounded individuals with diverse interests make for better Godrejites. We understand that our team members play multi-faceted roles; this is why we encourage them, not just to explore their whole selves, but also create an enabling space for them to do so.”
