THE Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Safeway Special Marshal and Partnership SMP Zone RS2.1 have appealed to drivers in Lagos State and beyond to be safety conscious when driving. The appeal was made during a road show sensitization programme held along Lagos – Ikorodu road.

According to Marshal Jerry Adewole and Marshal Olabisi Dennis every road user should note, “Safety starts with every individual, at home, office, on the road and other places.”

The joint sensitization patrol had in attendance, representative of RS2. 19 Oshodi Unit Command, Assistant Route Commander, John Onyeka Okafo, who said he was delighted at the initiative displayed by Safeway Special Marshal members in sensitizing the public on safety measures, and as we approaching the festive season.

Inscription on some of the posters read, Desist from dangerous overtaking; Drive with care; Speed thrills but kills; we are passionate about your safety; not about arrest but your safety among others.

All members of Safeway Anthony Village Unit were further encouraged to maintain absolute dedication in their service to the nation and humanity; while efforts should be made to sustain the goodwill and legacy of the Federal Road Safety Corps as a whole.
