Firm launches KStar specialised power backup solutions

Power backup company, Simba Industries, over the weekend introduced KStar specialised UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system that is capable of handling sensitive electrical equipment like hospital diagnostic and surgical apparatus, data centres and bank Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).

KStar UPS has the capacity to handle a wide range of applications, which have peculiar needs, such as machineries, where startup power requirements are huge, and where power failure can often delay output, as machines need to cool down and be restarted.

At the unveiling in Lagos, representative of Simba Industries, Mr. Prasanna Sridhar, stated that the different array of KStar UPS would cater to every power demand and needs in different sectors, including manufacturing, oil and gas, medical establishments, businesses and other key industries.

In his words, “Hundreds of thousands of businesses around the world depend on reliable power backup solutions for their critical systems. Downtime is simply not an option for them, as it results in potential loss of millions of dollars per second. KStar UPS draws on the latest research and development to offer unparalleled power backup solutions for diverse range of industries.”

Sridhar noted that the Chinese company founded in 1993 is the sixth largest manufacturer of UPS in the world, offering high quality products and full service support to 90 countries.

Head of Simba Service, Mr. Suresh Kumar, stated that Simba Service in Nigeria, which provides power audit consultation, installation, 24 hours’ customer support, and annual maintenance contracts, supports KStar UPS.
