THE Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Executive Secretary, Barrister Jaiye Alabi, has presented free General Certificate Of Education (GCE) photo-cards to 50 youths in the area. Addressing beneficiaries at the council secretariat, Alabi urged them to be good ambassadors of the council during the examination, by shunning all forms of examination malpractice. “This is a turning point in your life, if you study very well, you will definitely pass the examination.”

He assured the beneficiaries that his administration would continue to support them in their effort to achieve academic excellence, as long as they continue to exhibit determination to succeed in life.

Noting that the council decided to sponsor them for the examination to take away the financial burden from their parents, the Executive Secretary urged the students to justify the tax payers money invested on them, by passing the examination, because they may not have another opportunity.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Emmanuella Ojugbeli and Adebesin Adeniyi expressed appreciation to the council for the gesture towards securing their future. They assured the Executive Secretary that they will put in their best to pass the examination.
