Brother launches range of products into Nigeria market
Brother International officially launched its print, scan, and copy technology solutions products into the Nigerian Market on Tuesday at Sheraton Hotel and towers Lagos. It was done in conjunction with its partner and authorised representative in Nigeria, SKYSAT technologies.
Brother products includes a wide range of Laser and Inkjet printers/MPF, high-speed document scanners and innovative labeling printers designed for use in homes, offices or corporate environments.
According to the Managing Director, Brother International, Mr. Soichi Murakami, the official launch of Brother International in Nigeria is to fulfill a long time dream to introduce to the Nigerian market affordable and highly efficient Brother products that are world renowned for their Japanese design and quality, affordability and ease of use.
Also, the MD and CEO of Skysat technologies Nig. Ltd, Izzat Debs, said, “Our plan is to leverage on our past successes in offering robust and efficient sales and aftersales technical support services. With the support from our partners from Brother International, we are making Brother products the preferred choice in its market segment within a very short time in terms of affordability, usability, durability and productivity.
“Our technicians have also been trained to handle technical support services when the need arises. As a start-up, we are offering a 3-year warranty and free consumable packages that give a minimum of 6,000 prints on all Brother Ink Tank models in our stable.”
Also present at the launch were members of Computer Allied Product Dealers Association of Nigeria (CAPDAN). President of the association, Mr. Ahmed Ojikutu, said, “Computer village is the largest ICT hub in Africa, where things happen. My executive council and I are happy to be part of Brother story, the Skysat story and our partnership with you is to make sure your brand succeeds. Our interest is, first of all, the business development of our members, which is our utmost priority.”
An open house session with IT dealers was set up to empirically enlighten prospective users on the uniqueness of Brother products.
Other guests in attendance were Head of Economic and Commercial Section, Embassy of Japan in Nigeria, Yasuhiro Hashimoto, General Manager, Sales Division, Brother International, Amit Ali, and Trade Commissioner and Managing Director Jetro Lagos, Taku Miyazaki.
