Abuja, Ondo top semi-finalists’ table in Cowbellpedia quiz

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Ondo State have recorded the highest number of contestants that have qualified for the semi final of the ongoing maiden edition Cowbellpedia TV Quiz showing on 14 stations across the country.

Three representatives each of the FCT and Ondo State recently scaled the hurdle into the semi final stage of the competition.

Evans Owamoyo of Greater Tomorrow International College, Arigidi, got the first ticket for Ondo State in the junior category of the competition, sponsored by Cowbell, and produced by Promasidor Nigeria Limited.

In the senior category, it was Ayodeji Akinkuowo of Adeyemi Demonstration Secondary School; and Titilayo Adewale-Fasoro of Hallmark Secondary School, that made the state proud.

For the FCT, Munachi Ernest-Eze of Loyola Jesuit College, and Abdulmeez Yusuf of Nigerian Turkish International College are in possession of their semi final tickets. Loyola Jesuit also produced a student, Kamaldeen Raji, for the next round in the senior category.

Ogun, which used to dominate the competition, recorded the highest number of losers this year. Five of its flag bearers- three in the junior category and two in the senior category.

Similarly, three representatives of Cross River State have also been evicted from the competition.

Meanwhile, the FCT has come up as one of the bad losers in the competition as three of its students have been evicted.

The TV stations showing the quiz are: AIT Network, TVC Lagos, NTA Channel 10 Lagos, MITV, Ondo Television, NTA Ibadan, NTA Port Harcourt, ABS Onitsha, NTA Enugu, ITV Benin, NTA Kaduna, STB Jos, ITV Abuja, and Niger TV Minna.
