Don’t be wicked, help the poor, Prophet Alo urges wealthy Nigerians


Renowned cleric Prophet, Sam Olu Alo has scolded corrupt politicians and wealthy Nigerians over their continuous failure to assist unemployed youths and poor masses, accusing them of being adamant and deaf to corrections in the country.


He also used the opportunity to express his desire on the need for unemployed youths to be employed for they to have better lives for themselves.

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace Of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet stated the above after he led guests and dignitaries to cut the tape and commissioned the third Adamimogo 107.7FM radio station at Ido Ekiti on Saturday built by his organization, Adamimogo Global Outreach.

Prophet Olu Alo while answering questions from Newsmen at the premises of the Adamimogo 107.7FM radio station at Ido Ekiti on Saturday, shared little about his life history and past experiences, where he explained how God showed him mercy and lifted him out of the doldrums and his childhood poverty lifestyles.

Alo praised the heroes for always thirsting to help people. Also, he revealed that the heroes always take it as priority to develop their communities whenever the need arises.


Prophet Alo, explained that, “there is a wide difference between the rich and an hero. He described an hero as someone who always does things that will last and speak even after his or her death”.

He berated the attitude of the Nigerian politicians and wealthy people who always hides their wealth and spending them alone with their families without showing any readiness to help anyone, most especially the poor masses and the unemployed youths in our society.

He however pointed out that he is tired talking or counseling the wealthy or rich people in Nigeria again, because he has realized that they are not ready to change their ways, stressing that the rich people in Nigeria have failed the Country.

“Our money which has stucked abroad are too many. If such money are used to established businesses in the Country, life would have been more easier for the people.”

Counselling President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prophet Alo urged him not to take the support of Nigerians he is presenting enjoying for granted despite the tough economy hardship confronring them in the Country.

He also advised him to appoint those who has the interest of the common people in Nigeria at heart and do away with those he surrounded himself with, who are only interested in siphoning the Nation’s wealth and resources and convert them into their own personal properties.

Speaking further, he told President Tinubu to pursue the unity of the country without focusing on culture, religion or tribe or the politicians and seek more prayers from Pastors and Imams for him to succeed in office.


Also, in his bid to get more youths profitably engaged, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has promised to establish a modern piggery where at least twenty thousand pigs will be exported from Ekiti State. He’s also proposing to have Palm tree plantations where about two hundred people will be working.

He therefore sought for 300 hectares of farmlands from three different towns, at least one hundred hectares from each town for rearing different animals and other plantations which will no doubt improve the IGR and bring more development to the state.

He also said he wouldn’t mind if a town is ready to release the 300 hectares of land for the purpose.


He described kidnapping cases as very rampant situations in Nigeria because the bushes that ought to have been cleared and cultivated have remained thick forests.

“They are just there useless without yielding any profit to the country. That’s why everyone is hungry. Maize and cassava will also be planted in those farmlands for the benefit of the people.

Gov Biodun Oyebanji represented by the Permanent Secretary of his Ministry, Pastor Sesan Alabi noted that Ido-Ekiti is the second town in Ekiti State that is having a radio station outside the State capital, Ado-Ekiti.

The Permanent Secretary said that the establishment of the radio station is part of the fulfillment of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s shared prosperity agenda.


“Can you imagine the number of people that will be employed in this station? The bricklayers, the carpenters, the people who fixed windows and the people that fixed the lights. All of them got the job because this station is here.

While assuring the station of government cooperation like all other stations in the State, the Commissioner said whatever government can do at providing security and enabling environment for the station shall be done, not only to the electronic media but also all other media in the State.

The Ekiti State governor, Abiodun Oyebamiji, former Senior Special Adviser to former president Buhari, Hon. Afolabi Imorkuhade, and the Olojudo Of Ido Faboro-Ekiti, Oba Ayorinde Ilori Faboro were among dignitaries that eulogised the planter, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo on the occasion of his birth.


Others are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti, Dayo Apata (SAN), the Regional Superintendent CAC Essien Region and Benin Republic, Pastor Isaac Eyebiokin, the Planter, CAC, the Boaneges, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo, and the Chairman, Ido Town Development Council, Hon. Sola Ogunsina Oba Olunlade Fabusuyi, Onikun of Temidire-Ekiti, among others.

Prophet Alo, who is also the founder of Adamimogo Communications Limited marked his birthday on Saturday with launching of a maternity home and a new radio station, Adamimogo 107.7FM, in his hometown, Ido Faboro Ekiti.

Speaking at the event, governor Oyebamiji, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Olusesan Alabi commended the cleric for his philanthropic nature, saying his efforts towards reducing unemployment among Nigerian youths can not be overemphasized.


In his remark, Prophet Olu-Alo thank God for divine favor despite obstacles faced in life, saying plans is underway to establish a global television station in Ido-Ekiti, Ibadan, and Lagos to give employment and put his hometown on global map.

He revealed his plan to build a world-class piggery, grass cutter farm, and palm tree farms.

He said, “I request 100 hectares of land each for these three projects from you the Kings in my hometown similar to what we have for the SOAF Medical Centre in Irete-Ijebu,” Olu-Alo said, adding that the farms would provide employment to at least 200 youths, and their produce would be a major source of export to other countries.


Alo said the reason why he venture into commercial operations was borned out of his commitment to inspire younger generations in becoming better person and support government in meeting needs of the masses.

He stated that he had experienced worst circumstances of life but later became widely celebrated through dedication and perseverance in God’s work.

“Youths who have become lazy and easily depressed by the state of affairs of the nation should not be discouraged by whatever circumstances.”

While speaking at the event, the Olojudo Of Ido Faboro-Ekiti, and chairman, Ekiti State Traditional Council Of Obas, said that in Olu-Alo, he had found a passionate being who matched his vision for the growth of Ido-Ekiti.


He said he had jokingly asked Olu-Alo to set up his next radio station in his hometown in October, 2023 affirming that charity begins at home, and was expressly excited to launch the station eight months after the pronouncement.

“When Babatunde Bamigboye (Omo Edema) reached out to me for a land to build the new radio station. I asked if they were ready to build or just wanted the land for keeps in the long-term but to my surprise they said they were ready to build the radio station and I’m happy that having toiled in the rain with them that day to find the best location for the citing of the radio station, they wasted no time in setting to work.”

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti, Dayo Apata, (SAN) described Prophet Olu-Alo as a friend and brother whom God has used tremendously to impact lives positively.


He thanked God for the cleric’s life and sought divine strength for him to continue to excel.

The Regional Superintendent CAC Essien Region and Benin Republic, Pastor Isaac Eyebiokin, hailed his Son Prophet Olu-Alo for giving hope to Nigerians at a time of economic troubles.

The Chairman of the Ido Town Development Council, Hon. Sola Ogunsina said despite government intervention, Ido-Ekiti had taken its pride of place among other communities in Ekiti as a self-developed town.

He said the community had developed a strong belief that individuals could follow Olu-Alo’s path to execute legacy projects, hailing the cleric for leading by example.


Earlier, the Chairman of Adamimogo FM, Nigeria, Elder Afolabi Imoukhoude, extolled the cleric for his holistic approach to impacting people’s lives.

He said Prophet Olu-Alo not only addressed people’s problems via messages but had taken time to address their physical, psychological, and social well-being through various establishments under the Adamimogo Global outreach, comprising palliatives to widows and the elderly, a global sports team known as Adamimogo FC which discovers and nurtures soccer talents, as well as the media arm and world-standard health facility.

The highlight of the event include cutting of birthday cake, commissioning of Christ Apostolic Church Oke-Isegun’s Maternity Faith Home, donated by Prophet Alo, and commissioning of Adamimogo 107.7FM, the third in Adamimogo’s franchise after Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lekki, Lagos, and Adamimogo 105.1FM in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The occasion was well graced by religious leaders, royal fathers, media practitioners, friends and family of the Planter, Prophet Olu-Alo.
