Church treats 14,000 patients in three months

The Deeper Life Bible Church Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) Medical Mission has treated over 14,000 patients as part of its social responsibility, and in a bid to support the fight against cholera outbreak.

Team Supervisor, Dr Sam Onuoha, disclosed while addressing journalists ahead of the crusade holding from June 29 to July 2, in Abuja.
Covering  Taraba, Abia states, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and the Republic of Cameroon in the last three months, Onuoha added that the church has been holding medical outreaches in states and outside the country where the global Crusade had been taking place, noting: “We have  moved large consignments of drugs here.”

He explained that the essence of the medical outreach, which is anchored on the vision of the general superintendent of the church, is basically to show the love of God through Jesus Christ to the people.

His words: “The Convener of Global GGCK employs medical personnel that have to do with the preservation of life.”

It reveals to people that as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, we can indeed treat them, but healing exclusively comes from God Almighty.” The team leader added that there is a “doctor of doctors that created the entire human body, knows how best to put it in healthy condition, and that is Christ,” stressing: “We are giving them the medical treatment to introduce them to Him.”

Onuoha stressed: “We are going to be addressing the most common ailments in our communities such as malaria, diabetes, hypertension, ulcers, and others, as well as diagnose and treat them, and introduce them to what is the only guarantee to perfect health.
