Undergraduate wins N.5m in Western Lotto game

Western Lotto Nigeria Limited, made an undergraduate of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Soyombo Qadim, N500,000 richer following his win in one of the games on the Western Lotto platform.

Soyombo, a second-year Computer Science student won with an investment of N100 in the EuroJackpot game following the draw on Friday, August 25, 2017.
 
During the presentation of the prize on Monday, the Managing Director, Western Lotto, Mr Yomi Ogunfowora, said the company was excited at the win by one of its patrons, remarking that the win by a resident of Ibadan confirms high awareness about the Western Lotto platform across Nigeria.

  
Ogunfowora said: “It is important to note that Mr Soyombo Qadim is just one of over 2,000 lucky winners on the Western Lotto platform, since our commencement on July 10, more than 2,000 players have won various prizes on different games like MegaMillions, EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, Power Ball and UK Lotto.”
  
He continued that as part of the ongoing Mega Upgrade Promo, Western Lotto had rewarded 1,6000 participants with N1,000 in their Western Lotto wallets in support of the offer by their brand ambassadors.
       
Ogunfowora noted that more than 2,000 players stand to win prizes in the Mega Upgrade Promo has been on since August 4 to end September 5 this year.
 “A thousand customers would win N50,000 each, another thousand would grab N100,000 each, 30 others would go home with N500,000 each, 10 winners would win N1million each, and two others would also win brand new Hyundai saloon cars,” he added.
   
Ogunfowora assured that Western Lotto would bring more games, entertainment and rewards to its patrons now numbering in the tens of thousands as they go into the millions draws.
  
Speaking at the presentation, Soyombo said: “Firstly, I was thinking I would win bigger than this. This money is basically for my education because I’m a student, I’m sure I will win bigger than this because I will continue to play.”
