STI tasks Nigerians on adoption of risks covers
Sovereign Trust Insurance (STI) Plc has said it will stay focused on all its aspirations especially in the area of ensuring that Nigerians embraced insurance without any form of compulsion or coercion.
The Managing Director, STI, Olaotan Soyinka, said people will procure insurance products by choice through the delivery of excellent service in all areas of its operations.
Reacting to the sixth edition of its eponymous Open Golf Tournament sponsored by the insurance firm in conjunction with the Ibadan Golf Club, Soyinka reiterated that insurance remains an inevitable service in sustaining wealth creation.
He further said the company has identified the sport as a formidable platform to preach such a gospel, which explains why Sovereign Trust has remained at the vanguard of promoting this novel initiative.
He said: “Giving back to the society in whatever measure is an indication of true appreciation of what customers, business stakeholders, and the general public mean to any organisation. It is an indication that the brand is alive and responsive to its operating environment.”
