The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Alliance for Green Alternatives, California has concluded plans to showcase Nigerian agro businesses at the agricultural trade and investment expo and trade show.

The Expo, which is the world largest yearly outdoor agricultural exposition with 2.6 million square feet of exhibition space, 1,480 exhibitors, 105,780 attendees, 43 states and 71 countries, will hold from 13th February to 15th February 2018.

The three-day period according to the NACC, will witness the presence of exhibitors, expert speakers, expo attendees and key industry players across the agricultural value chain involved with seminars, exhibitions, agricultural tours, special events and networking, among others.

“This is a time when participants leverage on the Chamber’s partnership to increase their sales, meet buyers and distributors, gain insight from industry experts and promote their business across border further generating millions of naira in new business for their companies.

“The NACC had been organizing trade missions to the United States; the last was this year to Miami Florida, USA, where we had success stories in new deals and investments. Next year the Chamber looks forward to Agriculture as more discuss has opened up on the potentials agriculture offers to the Nigerian economy. Nigeria is richly blessed in agricultural resources and it’s time to link businesses here to global enterprises”, the chamber added.

The Chamber also expressed commitment towards promoting the development of trade, commerce, investment and industrial technological relationships between the public and private sectors in Nigeria and the United States of America by further driving socio-economic growth and development for all.
