To drive efforts to bridge innovation, capital formation and technical progression gaps in Africa, African Industrial Growth Enhancement Organization (AFRIGO) will today, launch its operations in Lagos.

AFRIGO, a not for profit, non-partisan membership organization consisting of networks of investors, business executives and development professionals across the African aims at developing the industrial base of African nations through a strategic inter-relationship and integration of capital, technology and human resource.

According to a statement from the firm, AFRIGO is positioned to chart a new direction and contribute massively towards deployment of innovative, dynamic and inclusive strategies and solutions; assisting governments at all levels across Africa in developing and implementing industrial development policies and programs, facilitating partnerships and business matchmaking, promoting job creation and employment generation, facility generation and disbursement of project/business financing for members.

AFRIGO shall focus on all aspects of industrial development most especially development of raw materials, energy availability, industrial research, local fabrication, transport infrastructure, SMEs’ development and improving Africa’s human development index (HDI)”, the statement read.
