The Governor of Taraba State, Darius Dickson Ishaku has said plans have been concluded for the commencement of daily flights from the Jalingo Airport.
The flights, which would commence before the end of this month would enormously assist in the airlifting more than one ton of Taraba vegetables and cucumber to other parts of the country for sale.

Ishaku made this known yesterday in Jalingo while addressing worshipers at the Christian Reformed Church – Nigeria (CRC-N) saying the decision to commence the daily flight resulted from the increasing activities in the state since his assumption of office as governor.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment towards repositioning the state, stressing that the opening up of the air space to the daily flights at the Jalingo Airport was yielding huge results as Federal Government officials and prospective investors now move in and out of Jalingo without much difficulty.
He pointed out that he was convinced that his Rescue Mission Agenda was touching lives in all sectors of the economy.
