ARIK Air, West Africa’s largest carrier, has introduced a new schedule for its Lagos-Abuja-Dubai route as the airline moves its operations to Terminal 2 at Dubai Airport.

The new schedule, which became effective on February 20, 2015, has guaranteed better connections within Nigeria. Furthermore, the fares to Dubai are now flexible making it possible for passengers from any point in Nigeria to pay the same fare as Lagos and Abuja passengers.

The days of operation will continue to run as five per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The outbound flight now departs Lagos at 4:15 pm and arrives in Abuja at 5:30 pm. The connecting flight leaves Abuja at 6:30 pm (local time) and arrives in Dubai at 4:30 am (local time, next day).

The inbound flight leaves Dubai at 6:00 am (local time) and arrives in Abuja at 10:15 am (local time). The flight departs Abuja later at 11:15 am and arrives in Lagos at 12:30 pm.

This new schedule aims to allow passengers to effortlessly connect to Dubai from major Nigerian cities as it guarantees same day connection in each direction via Lagos and Abuja. Guests in Kano, Benin, Gombe, Enugu, Ilorin, Port Harcourt and Warri are going to benefit greatly from the new schedule.

All flights will operate using a new Airbus A 330-200 seating 217 passengers on board with a configuration of 30 business and 187 economy class seats.
