Joel Akpede Oghenemaro, professionally known as JayDaGRT, embodies the adage “Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well.” His journey from struggling as a palm oil marketer to realizing his musical dreams reflects resilience and dedication. Reflecting on his humble beginnings, JayDaGRT reveals, “I saved a specific amount from my work as a palm oil marketer for Okomu palm oil, and I used that to record my first song.” Despite the challenges, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of music, driven by an unwavering belief in the possibility of success. He shares, “I believe anything is possible. My ultimate dream is to collaborate with Burna Boy, produced by JAE5. That would be a dream come true.”
