Access Bank invests in NCR’s multi-function ATMs

NCR Corporation, the global consumer transaction technologies and Access Bank Plc, have partnered to enhance the bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) portfolio with the company’s latest SelfServ ATMs to improve speed.

The new NCR’s next generation ATMs will help the bank to enhance customer experience with reduced ATM downtime and highly secure banking environment.

The NCR’s innovative product known as SelfServ 34 Cash Deposit ATM, also serves customers with a wide range of transactions like cash deposit and bill payment and can scale to cheques deposit.

The company also delivered SelfServ 34 Dual Dispenser ATMs, which can handle high transaction volumes that make Access Bank available to customer at all times.

Already, plans are underway to complete installation of the ATMs with self-healing technology in the bank’s existing branches and in remote locations across Nigeria to reach out to the vast underserved customers in the second half of 2016.

Part of the agreement the deployment of SelfServ 25 and SelfServ 26 ATMs at various stations across Nigeria and equipped with ATM Skimming Protection Solution to prevent any attempt by a criminal to isolate and record data from the magnetic stripe on the card.
