U.K.-based Nigerian artiste Ray (real name Rahman Bisiriyu) has released a new single titled Bala and produced by Young Jon of Krystal City Record Label. It is described as a rhythmical drum pattern that has the ability to get fans on their feet. Combined with an infectious melody complimented by Ray’s lyrical ability, the artiste sings about his ability to woo his woman with all the right words.

According to the Afro-hip pop artiste, Bala is a track he intends to make his presence known, not just the Nigerian music scene, but on the world stage.

He said, “This is my style. I am not here to compete with anybody but to make a difference.”

The management of the U.K. the label on which he is signed on stated that the decision to back Ray’s career stems from the young artiste’s lyrical prowess, abundance of talent and a wholesome thirst for success.

A statement from the record label said, “We are the home of entertainment in the U.K. and we are here to unleash another one of our artistes. Ray’s mind-blowing freestyle brought him to the attention of Krystal City Records after moving from Lagos to London. We are determined to push his career to whatever lengths attainable because we believe in his abilities”.

To his credit, Ray has had previous musical experience while working with the likes of Reekado Banks (MAVIN), Bayoz Muzik, Moelogo, 2face Idibia and Iyanya.
