Mr. Ibu, Duncan Mighty, Efe, others to ignite Lagos with Maconi Music Festival

Lagos will again come alive as music and comedy take centre stage at this year Maconi Music festival slated for Sunday, May 27.Billed as a world-class musical event, it was conceived as an avenue to celebrate Nigerians and get all lovers of good music and comedy to experience a memorable night.

The organisers also hope to use the occasion in conjunction with partners to reward brand loyalty. According to them, the event would also feature dancing competitions, cash prizes and free wines among others.

Popular comedian John Okafor also known as Mr. Ibu, Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu and last year Big Brother Winner, Efe, will join Duncan Mighty, Ruff Coin, Okoh Imeh, MC Pashun, Apama Egbeigwe, MC Yaw and others in Lagos to kick off the musical festival.

The one-day event is scheduled to hold at the Villa Park Hotels and Suites, Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Lagos.In a release signed by the Public Relations Manager for the festival, Mr. Alexander Kalu-Okoronkwo, the event would serve as a platform to showcase upcoming artists and harness their talents for stardom.

According to him, Executive Producer, Jammflag Global Resources Limited, Mr. Uchenna Ukaegbu and co-producer, Chief Emmanuel Utah has promised to use the opportunity to encourage Nigerian youth and motivate them to discover their talents and harness it for nation building.

The organisers assured of adequate security to safeguard fun seekers and guests. The event is supported by The Goodfather Ent. Limited, Kingston Jo, Spice Garden Hotel, Lagos, Nobis, Maconi Wine and Orange Resort Centre, Calabar.
