Russelsmith Nigeria, an integrated oilfield services company, has appointed Kayode Adeleke as its new Chief Executive Officer. He resumed on January 1, 2018 as Leslie Oghomienor’s successor. Oghomienor has been appointed the Executive Chairman of the company.

Kayode Adeleke joined RusselSmith in 2001 and has been a part of the team for over 16 years. He joined the firm as Executive Director, Finance & Technology before moving on to become the Deputy Managing Director. Before assuming this new position, he served as the Senior Executive Vice President where he helped lead and execute many of the company’s critical strategic development and expansion programs.

Adeleke is a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, a registered member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, and a member of the Institute of Directors, a Charter President of the RusselSmith Toastmaster Club and the current Vice Chairman of Blaugrana Sports International, License owner of the FC Barcelona Soccer School, Lagos.

“RusselSmith has always had a vision to become a world-class company, and looking back at how far we have come, it has indeed been wonderful so far, being part of an indigenous company which delivers true world-class quality services in Nigeria’s Oilfield Services sector.” said Adeleke.

Adeleke reaffirmed RusselSmith’s commitment towards building local capacity and developing innovative technologies to solve problems in the oil and gas industry.

This organizational restructuring comes at a time when the company is expanding its services to deliver more robust subsea solutions, as demonstrated by its recent partnership with 4Subsea, a Norwegian Subsea Company.

In addition to its Subsea Asset Integrity Management business division, RusselSmith also provides Aerial Inspection & Survey Services and Topside Asset Integrity Management Services, forming a full range of integrated oilfield services.
