GIHN appoints Adewumi new public relations officer

The Global Initiative for Harmony in Nigeria (GIHN) has appointed its Ogun State Coordinator, Bishop Solomon Rotimi Adewumi, as new national public relations officer (PRO). The appointment was contained in a statement by the General Coordinator, Ambassador Elizabeth Omini, at the 2018 National Political Summit in Abuja. Adewumi has, however, sought the prayers and cooperation of members to enable him perform creditably in his new office.

GIHN was founded by Omini on March 30, 2013. In October 2015, the founder, working with the Federal Government, sponsored an amendment bill to provide a framework for the activities of the corps under the supervision of the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), which has since gone through various readings at both chambers.
