Friends, associates fete NIM awardee, Ananaba

Friends, family, well-wishers and associates of the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL), Dr. Paul Ananaba (SAN), last weekend held a dinner in his honour.

Friends, family, well-wishers and associates of the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL), Dr. Paul Ananaba (SAN), last weekend held a dinner in his honour. This followed the conferment of the award of fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) on him.

Ananaba, who hails from Abia State, is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.Chairman of the dinner, Sunny Aku, extolled the virtues of the senior advocate, saying he has through the dint of hard work carved a niche for himself in legal practice and management.

Also speaking, the Commissioner of Finance, Abia State, Obinna Oriaku, who represented the Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, praised the celebrant.According to him, Ananaba is an epitome of hard work, scholarship, resilience and integrity.

The Governor, who used the opportunity to highlight few of its achievements, urged the celebrant never to rest on his oars.Responding, Dr. Ananaba thanked God for giving him the privilege to be alive to witness the event.

“I am so happy and I am grateful to God. Thank God for the friends and well-wishers who came to rejoice with me,” he said.Speaking on his conferment, he said: “It is another level or platform for service. The certificate firstly makes you a professional manager. In all aspects of management in life, one can add some little value to it and that’s the critical point.

“Well, I have lived in the midst of people and I have worked with them. So I expect as it has turned out that our people will recognize that and come out to honour me.”
