FISD, UNILAG begin training on business startups

The Fountain Initiative for Social Development (FISD) in partnership with the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Consult Limited (UCL) will from October commence a two-month training for business startups, which holds on Saturdays.

This is in continuation of their efforts to empower aspiring and existing entrepreneurs to establish, manage and position their own businesses.

The training tagged: Business Startup Essentials, will commence from Saturday October 7 to December 2017.

A statement by the organisers said highlights of the courses include the entrepreneurship journey with key competences for success, strategies for setting prices, attracting and securing customers with the internet and e-business training, as well as partnerships with potential investors and funders, among others.

The participants would be awarded certificates of recognition, benefit from a conducive learning environment, networking and partnership with local and international businesses, as well as post- training support and mentorship.
