GLOBAL Provider of Network Security Appliance, Cyberoam, has announced the appointment of David Sodeinde as its locally stationed pre-sales manager to assist the partner network in Nigeria.

According to the firm, the market is expected to be worth $2.3 billion by 2020, as Africa’s largest economy, Nigeria will be driving majority of this growth, making it central to Cyberoam’s market plans. Thus, Cyberoam has given a larger impetus to partner appointment and empowerment activities in the region.

Expressing his views over his new appointment, Sodeinde said, “I am excited to be a part of Cyberoam, as its making rapid strides with the value proposition for the SMB segment. Hence, in emerging economies like Nigeria the company has a huge potential for growth.

“However, I have worked closely with organizations in Nigeria and can easily see how Cyberoam brought in security transformation and make organizations compete at global levels.”

Sodeinde will be working closely with Cyberoam Country Manager, Jimi Falaiye, to capitalize on the opportunities in the Nigerian network security market. Cyberoam constantly engages with the end customers and partners in the region via its security seminars.

After this appointment, Sodeinde will take charge of such seminars, product awareness programs, assisting partner skill development, delivering product certification training, solution presentations and product updates. He would also be involved in handling comparison discussions, assisting tender responses and compliance discussions, as well as assisting product deployments and technology, where needed.
