Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is today hosting the Lagos Small Businesses Summit (LSBS).

Organisers of the event, SME100 Nigeria said the Lagos Small Business Policy Summit is being held in commemoration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The summit brings together government leaders, the organised private sector (OPS), academics, policy makers and small business owners who are innovative game changers in their various sectors to discuss the impact of policies on small and medium scale businesses in Nigeria.

SME100 Nigeria stimulates entrepreneurship among young Nigerians by identifying and supporting entrepreneurs: enabling communities to reap the transformational benefits of their participation in the economy and inspires, empowers and equips entrepreneurs and small and medium scale enterprises in Nigeria.

The summit with the theme: Breaking New Frontiers: Nigeria As a Platform For Going Global will discuss topics like creating exponential institutions: how government and small businesses can keep up with the market, as well as how to transform fears of failure to becoming an innovative nation, among others.
