To improve productivity among the workforce of organisations, the Agile Advisor, a global firm of consultants, researchers and information professionals, have companies to adopt smart workplace strategies for prompt customers satisfaction.

The firm, headquartered in Canada, is currently building its team in Nigeria with the aim of combining latest open source technologies with traditional enterprise software products and agile methodologies to provide solutions to companies needs.

Director of Agile Advisor Nigeria, Abby Osoba said the organisation was determined to serve clients at every level, function as a trusted advisor to top management and act as a hands-on coach for front line employees.

“For every engagement, we assemble a team with the most appropriate experience and expertise. No matter the challenge, we focus on delivering practical and enduring results and equipping our clients to grow and lead.

“We partner with clients to put recommendations into practice. Agile Advisors turn ideas and strategies into prototypes and applications quickly from overnight visualizations to enterprise-level applications. Our services include agile consultancy and mentoring, agile workshops, trainings, adoption and transformation using the agile framework,” she said.

She added that the workplace and business environment could be a lot better than what presently obtains presently in most companies operating in Nigeria if the agile workplace tenets and philosophy were embraced.

Osoba revealed that the organisation was working closely with the Agile Practitioners of Nigeria in setting up more awareness on agile practice and the hosting of the first ever-agile conference this year adding that it would provide advisory capacity for entrepreneurs, business owners and corporate leaders from different organisations.

Also speaking, team leader of the organisation, Tunde Osiyale of the Agile Practitioners Nigeria said the initiative would change a lot of things in the Nigerian economy through an orderly and timely way.

“The whole idea is for companies to innovate their processes and for people to learn better ways of doing things across all sectors of the economy. We will impact Nigerians through training and workshops on working agile, and collaboratively in teams, as well as demonstrate aptitude for analytics,” he stated.
